I recently installed Unite!. Slick program that did not have root password setup on install.
All GUI functions are super, but without root access you cannot manage the system.
Any suggestions?

I too ran into this problem and searched the web to find the default password for Unite! and ran across this page seeking the same information. No success on searches so I email the great "on-disk" where I purchased the DVD and they replied back..........fast as usual!!!!!!!!

They should have added DUMMY to this, but did not, they simply wrote the initial Passwords = password and is written on the DVD cover.

Had I had my glasses on I might have seen that, but then again, I probably would not have, for I very seldom read labels and instructions! Very Happy

Oh, we were supposed to read directions? How novel! I have my original Unite wrapper and no password exists. To bad, it is one of the better new systems.
