A linux noob here, hoping to get skillz

Just pulled my old xbox out of the closet and decided to try setting it up to check out what I can do with Linux.

Have installed x-DSL on it and (yay) it works Damn well.

Looking to get some skillz in the security side; auto starting apps (I tried and died doing this); maintaining the system.

Any info / suggested reading would be appreciated - ... off to troll forums now....

How familiar are you with the basics of Linux. I assume you already have some "skillz" based on what you've already written. My first suggestion would be to have a look at our site's tutorials to see if any of the lessons suit your requirements. Here's the link:
